Mike, with over 30 years of experience in the building industry, was renowned for his expertise in timber and his passion for the craft. After retiring from Marlow's in 1998, Mike started carving rocking horses in his garden shed. However, his knowledge quickly caught the attention of clients, from national house builders to private homeowners, who wanted his expertise on their projects. As demand grew, the small shed transformed into a fully-fledged joinery business.
